Welcome to RONALDO and SHARON WHITE's WEBSITE These two are an amazing team. Ronaldo came to Sharon in the fall of 2004 from Jamie Striley who successfully competed him through the intermediate level. Prior to that, Kirsten Todd-Pratt (Ronaldo’s owner), evented him through preliminary level before she went to college. Sharon continued to compete Ronaldo at the intermediate level until August of 2005, when a catastrophic accident nearly ended Sharon's riding career. Being selected to represent your country for international competition is a huge honor and it takes years of hard work and sacrifice to get to the level where you and your horse are a strong enough team to earn that right. Many riders and horses have talent, but are unlucky, become injured, or it becomes too expensive to continue the campaign. We hope you will become one of our friends and cheer for Ronaldo and Sharon as they work towards making this difficult but amazing journey towards equestrian stardom. Follow along with us as we watch how Sharon introduces the advanced level of eventing to Ronaldo. Many of the events that Ronaldo and Sharon are competing at now have streaming audio and instant scoring. Even better, we hear video is around the corner! USEA provides interesting commentary and they are major players introducing this new technology as applied to the sport of eventing. Check Back Often for New Results and Other Interesting Updates Sharon, an advanced level event rider, is known for her absolute dedication to her horses, her students and Last Frontier Farm. Sharon and her parents bought Last Frontier Farm when her Mom, Carol, was diagnosed with brain cancer and wanted to be closer to Sharon. Her Father, George, a retired Captain, cares for Carol and makes lunches for all the working students while Sharon runs the farm. Sharon received her degree with George Mason University while she was working and training with Torrance Watkins.
